How to Use
- Apply a non-permanent marker to the underside of the template.
- Press the template against the neck.
- The transferred marker highlights high spots that need additional shaping.
- Repeat the process until the neck matches the desired profile, blending smoothly between the 1st and 12th frets.

Why I Built It
Carving a comfortable guitar neck by hand takes time, patience, and constant checking.
I created these templates as a quick, repeatable reference for shaping necks by hand and checking progress throughout the carving process.
Although I now machine most neck profiles on a CNC, these templates remain a simple, reliable tool for builders who prefer to carve by hand or verify a finished profile.
